LOCATION: SALINA, SICILY

YEAR: 2005

While visiting the location for a future villa on the Isle of Salina in Sicily, we were awe-struck by the natural beauty of the surrounding area. We thus decided to design the home as an ode to its context and by inverting the traditional concepts of a living space: bringing the outside in and the inside out. The final result is a blend of wild nature, landscaping and a man-made structure that that blends seamlessly into the scenery.
